Katie & James: Wedding photography – Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park
We are so pleased with our wedding photos and Louise’s relaxed approach was exactly what we were looking for. We hardly noticed Louise was there on the day and she managed to capture all of the fun and emotion of the day so well. The photofilm set to music was such a lovely touch and a great reminder of the day. As a couple, neither of us particularly like having our photo taken but we are so pleased with the result (and have had many compliments from friends and family too!). I cannot recommend Louise highly enough!

A selection of wedding photographs from their big day – with bridal prep at The Petersham hotel and the service at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond, southwest London:
I photographed the bridal prep at The Petersham hotel in Richmond:
The Petersham hotel is so well suited to bridal prep – the perfect balance of romance and grandeur:
Katie looked so beautiful:
This lovely couple got married at Pembroke Lodge in London’s stunning Richmond park:
It was a warm day, perfect for their garden celebrations:
The day had a summer fete feel to it, combined with classic British elegance – the Belvedere room was the ideal spot for their theme:
The ceremony was incredibly beautiful and emotional:
Guests then enjoyed drinks on the terrace which overlooks the whole of Richmond park:
Guests had great fun with toy aeroplanes, throwing them from the terrace:
We took the group shots in the beautiful ground of Pembroke Lodge:
The pergola was in full bloom and made the perfect setting for their couple portraits:
Katie made much of the decoration herself (such as the table decorations, seating plan, flowers & card table), and her aunties also made the favours – homemade jam. The couple commemorated Katie’s father, who was a Hollywood producer, by naming the tables after his films and having clapperboards for the table signs.
The menu was relaxed: bangers and mash, and sticky toffee pudding.
Katie’s mother and aunt even made the wedding cake – an amazing tower of Victoria sponge, laden with fresh summer fruit:
The speeches were brilliant, and Katie’s stepfather sang a song in the evening that he’d written himself for their wedding:
What a day!
